Our Organization
There are four major components in our structure which
contribute to our effectiveness in carrying out our mission. These
four components help make our ministry complete. They are Cells,
Celebration, Sponsor Relationships/Equipping Tracks, and Servant
Community.
Cells
The cell is people, just as the church is people. Each cell
meets together once a week to focus on the presence, power, and
purpose of Jesus Christ. During the weekly meeting, cell members
experience fellowship and encouragement as they minister to one
another, worship, and pray together. Accountability is also an
important ingredient of cell life. Each cell member is expected to
pursue regular relationships with lost people (oikos)
as well as relationships with the other cell members.
Community is developed within a cell as its members spend
time in relationship with one another. Needs are ministered to,
members are edified and equipped, and lost people are brought into
the community. People soon learn that there is great blessing and
growth when their lives are shared together.
As
the cell grows, the cell leader (cell
servant) trains an intern to become a cell servant.
Once the cell reaches a core group of fifteen adults with a
trained intern, it multiplies into two cells. The cell servant
stays with one new cell, and the intern becomes a cell servant for
the other one. The new cells begin to develop community, and then
repeat the process. To

Celebration
Every Sunday, the whole church gathers for a celebration of
what God is doing in everyone’s life. During the celebration, we
worship and pray together, share testimonies of God’s grace at
work in us, and teach the Word of God. We bring a focus on
glorifying God through exalting Jesus and being sensitive to the
Holy Spirit’s work among us.

Sponsor
Relationships/Equipping Tracks
Each cell member is part of a sponsor relationship, in
which they either sponsor a younger believer, or are being
sponsored by an older one. These mentoring relationships provide
individual help and encouragement, personal prayer support, and
accountability for everyone in our church. Sponsors and their
sponsorees meet every week at their convenience. This helps
develop unity in our cells and deepen Christian community. This
unity comes because the ones sharing in relationship agree on the
truth of the Word.
Everyone
works through an equipping track, which helps prepare each cell
member for ministry. These equipping tracks include studies in
doctrine, practical issues of the daily Christian walk, and
training in ministry issues, such as evangelism and sponsoring.
They are designed to help ground the believer from salvation to
living a life of obedience and faithfulness. Part of the weekly
sponsor meeting includes a review of the equipping track. The
sponsor can help explain any issues that are unclear, as well as
help their sponsoree work through tough issues they will face in
their daily life. The equipping track also helps teach new
Christians the value of personal Bible study and a devotional
life. To download an

Servant
Community
Leadership development is essential to the growth of Grace
Community Fellowship. Servant Community is a biweekly training
event for cell servants and interns. Each servant community
gathering includes an emphasis on vision casting, training in
skills necessary for the ministry of a cell servant, and
evaluating and problem solving for current cells. This way we keep
in touch with our leaders and provide regular, biweekly training
for them. By shepherding each cell servant we can ensure effective
shepherding throughout the church.
